Marquette University was established in 1881 as Marquette College and became a nationally recognized University in 1907. The University provides education in Law, Medical, Education, Communication, Business, and Arts and Sciences. The Marquette University Theatre department is an all encompassing theatrical program that instructs students in performing arts, directing, costume design, and stage production. Their approach to teaching is through hands on experience and they build their theatre productions each year to provide in-depth experience and education to their students.
