In order to promote the healthy and orderly development of the industrial internet identification analysis system, standardize the industrial internet identification service, protect the legitimate rights and interests of users, and ensure the safe and reliable operation of the identification analysis system, according to relevant laws, regulations and rules, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently issued the Measures for the administration of industrial internet signs (hereinafter referred to as the measures), containing 20 articles, it will be implemented as of June 1, 2021.

The "measures" pointed out that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology carried out supervision and management of domestic identification services, and its main responsibilities included: formulating industrial internet identification management policy documents, development plans and industrial internet identification analysis system architecture; manage root node operating agencies, national top node operating agencies, identification registration management agencies, recursive node operating agencies; Manage industrial internet identification services; Be responsible for network security management of industrial internet identification resolution system; protect users' information and legitimate rights and interests according to law; Be responsible for international coordination related to industrial internet identification; Manage other activities related to industrial internet identification services.

The "measures" clarify that the communications administrations of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall supervise and manage the identification services within their respective administrative areas. Their main responsibilities include: Implementing the identification management policy documents, development planning and industrial internet identification resolution system architecture; Manage identification registration service agencies and recursive node operation agencies; Assist the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in managing identification service agencies; Manage industrial internet identification services; be responsible for the network security management of the industrial internet identification resolution system; Protect users' information and legitimate rights and interests according to law; Manage other industrial internet identification service related activities.
